There are people who view their jobs as jobs and there are people who view their jobs as callings. Kenneth Peck definitely falls into the latter description. Even though his start in the industry might have been fortuitous, Kenneth has found his place and is making his mark. Read on to learn more about Kenneth and how he remains a die-hard Bears fan even tough he lives in the heart of Cowboys country.
Name: Kenneth Peck
Company: RGS Financial
Length of time at current position: Two years.
Length of time in industry: Twenty-one years.
How did you get your start in the industry?
During my time in Chicago, I drove a friend to an open house at a company called Harris and Harris. There was a gentlemen by the name of Fredy Rodriguez giving people tours and he was filled with so much energy and all he kept saying was “Make calls and get paid”; in my mind, I thought “that sounds easy.” I filled out an application and they hired me — I’ve been hooked ever since.
What is your career highlight so far?
Seeing the success of the people that I have trained and mentored over the years. I know that I’ve done my job when I witness their success.
When or how are you most productive?
Efficient production is almost an addiction, and tends to occur when there’s a perfect marriage of expectations, deadlines, precise internal communication and my reputation being on the line. If the “stakes” are clearly outlined and laid out, production runs like a well-oiled machine.
Which industry professional do you admire most?
I would say that there were four people but three all work for the same company: Joel Bernheim, Tony Eshaya, Steve Fishein of ARS, and Mike Ryalls of RGS.
What is one thing you do better than everyone else?
I cannot be outworked.

What do you like most about this industry?
There are multiple ways to help people, whether they are your employees, consumers or clients. It provides a great springboard for reaching and impacting many in a positive way.
What is one thing you wish you could change about this industry?
The strict regulations in California, New York, and Massachusetts.
If you weren’t in this industry, what would you be doing?
Full–time motivational speaker, part-time body builder (LOL to the body builder part).
Describe a typical work day.
I can show you better than I can tell you.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Chicago style street food, although it is difficult to find or match in DFW.
