Earlier this month, Todd Santa Maria was promoted to be the new president of VoApps, a company that specializes in sending DirectDrop Voicemails to the phones of individuals. Todd has worked at VoApps for nearly five years, starting there in May 2015 as Director of Client Development. The company has seen significant growth in that span and Todd is looking to continue that as president of the company. He was kind enough to answer some questions about his new role and the direction of the company.
What are you most looking forward to in your new role?
I am excited to use my position to continue to advocate for the credit and collections industry and the good people that make up 99.9% of it. I’m also looking forward to leading VoApps into the next few years of hyperfocus on our clients and the industries that have helped us get to where we are today.
What about the DirectDrop Voicemail product excites you most for the future?
The way that we’re able to get our clients’ messages to consumers about their financial obligations at a time when reaching them by other methods is becoming tougher. The results speak for themselves and our concentration is going to be on showing those to more companies.
Do you foresee any major changes to VoApps, Inc.’s direction?
No. Nothing that the AccountsRecovery.net audience will notice, because we are focusing on the credit and collections industry and spending less effort trying to break into markets that are not as good a fit for our core competencies.
What are your goals for the next 12 months?
We have some key accounts we’d like to land and software integrations we’d like to improve, but the developments I’m most anticipating over the next 12 months are what happens with the TCPA and the CFPB’s final debt collection rules.
How do you plan to continue convincing the industry of the benefits of DirectDrop Voicemail?
By sharing the incredible results our clients see! Given the current state of outbound calling in the era of call blocking and labeling, we will continue to show agencies how they can fundamentally change their business from dialing out fruitlessly to fielding inbound calls from consumers ready to pay.
