Malone and Martin PLLC is proud to announce that industry veteran Mike Frost has joined our staff as partner and the firm will be changing its name to Malone Frost Martin PLLC.
Frost joins the firm from CBE Companies, Inc. where he held a senior executive position as Chief Compliance, Sales Officer and General Counsel and Shareholder since 2004.
Frost has more than 18 years of experience in collections, having held various leadership roles in legal, compliance, government affairs, lobbying, operations, sales, marketing and client relations. In his new role at Malone Frost Martin, PLLC, Frost will be focused on providing compliance and general counsel services to the collections industry, as well as litigation defense and business development.
“Having an industry veteran such as Mike join our team is a testament to the strength of our firm and the major clients we represent, as well as our focus and dedication to the ARM industry,” said Robbie Malone, partner. “Frost brings a level of experience to our firm that other firms cannot match. It is extremely rare to have a partner within a firm that has a high level of understanding of the operational aspects of the collection business like Frost does” added Malone.
“I have worked with Robbie and her team for more than 10 years in various capacities. Making a move to the law firm, I knew that I needed to partner with the best trial attorneys in the business. Robbie and the attorneys at Malone Frost Martin PLLC are exactly what I was looking for as a foundation to build a law firm that can meet every need of the ARM industry,” said Frost. “My entire practice is developed with a focus on the ARM industry. We have developed a new model that will revolutionize the way litigation, compliance, general counsel and support services are provided to the collection industry,” added Frost.
Frost received his J.D. from Drake University Law School and his B.A. in Political Science from the University of Northern Iowa. Frost has served, and continues to serve, on ACA International, Inc.’s Board of Directors where he was elected in 2014 and re-elected in 2017. Frost received ACA’s Judicial Advocacy Award in 2017, International Fellowship of Certified Collection Executives Award in 2015, and Unit Leader of the Year in 2013. Frost has been part of Collection Advisor Magazine’s Top 25 Most Influential Collection Professionals, Who’s Who in Collections, and Stars of Compliance.
