Credit Adjustments, Inc., a collection agency based in Defiance, Ohio, will open a new 500-seat call center today in Toledo, according to a published report.
The company plans on hiring 17 employees initially and will fill the remaining seats during the next three years.
New employees will start at $14 per hour, according to the report.
Credit Adjustments opened in 1977 and now operates calls centers in Georgia, New Hampshire, and Minnesota along with its Ohio office. The company specializes in collecting healthcare and student loan debts, according to its website.
“As a faith-based business, we are not only concerned with running a successful business, but are equally concerned with reinvesting in out communities,” the company said in a statement.
