CFPB Holding Webinar To Promote New Debt Collection Report

The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau’s Financial Education Exchange has announced it is holding a webinar tomorrow on “consumer views and experiences in debt collection.” The webinar appears to be tied to a report that is being touted as “the first of its kind,” providing “in-depth analysis of consumer’ encounters with the debt collection industry.”

The webinar is being held tomorrow, Thursday, Feb. 23 from 2pm to 3pm ET. Use the following link to access the webinar online: https://www.mymeetings.com/nc/join.php?i=PWXW2772968&p=7979368&t=c. The webinar will also be recorded and available on the CFPB’s website.

The Financial Education Exchange was launched by the CFPB in June 2015. It’s aim is to provide tools and resources for financial educators, to help them “improve the financial well-being of the people” they serve.
