- More than three-fourths of students between the ages of 18 and 24 pay their bills on time, according to a survey conducted by Sallie Mae and Ipsos, a market research firm. The study is meant to illustrate how “carefully and conscientiously” students are managing their finances. Furthermore, 60% of those surveyed said they never spend more than they have available.
