Internet users are not a particularly imaginative bunch, at least as far as creating passwords goes.
Every year, a company called SplashData mines all of the stolen passwords and then ranks them according to their popularity. The release of “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” clearly had some influence on this year’s list. More than half of the entries on this year’s list were also on the list of most commonly hacked passwords
If you do not want your password to be stolen, make sure it is not on this list.
