Work Location: Hybrid if located in Wichita metropolitan area, Remote if outside of the Wichita metropolitan area (Texas, Missouri, Oklahoma, Iowa & Nebraska)

 

Job Summary:

We are looking for Recovery (Collections) Specialists to join our passionate Ad Astra team for our August 3rd class (remote training starts August 8th). You will be at the forefront of establishing and maintaining a professional and ethical relationship with our consumers by adhering to company policies, state and federal regulations to arrange for debt repayment or establish repayment schedules, based on each of our consumers’ financial situations.  

What you will be doing:

  • Work with and create deep relationships with consumers while finding the best solutions to resolve any concerns, settle disputes, and resolve account discrepancies
  • You will strive to uphold company policies and procedures and adhere to all state and federal laws in our industry while you work with consumers to collect on accounts and help them return to good standing 
  • Make constructive operations suggestions that will lead to greater efficiencies and build team unity 

What you should have:

  • Customer service experience in an applicable industry
  • You enjoy working in a team environment, with a willingness to provide information to supervisors and peers that will lead to the overall success of the organization 
  • You have experience working with computer and dialer programs and are dutiful in account documentation, learning product knowledge, strive for great client relations, and experienced in fraud resolution, bankruptcy handling & legal processing 
  • You have a knack for managing consumer concerns, settling disputes, and resolving consumer discrepancies and creating deep relationships to help avoid future issues
  • Experience working on a Microsoft windows platform 
  • You have flexibility to work assigned shifts during hours of operations:  Monday through Friday 8:00am – 8:00pm, Saturday 9:00am – 1:00pm (schedules will be communicated prior to start date)
