LAS VEGAS — Many of the faces that will be seen at ACA International’s Ignite conference that starts here at Caesar’s Palace later today may be familiar, but the content and ideas that will be shared are sure to be unique and exciting. And this is a great time for the accounts receivable management industry to come together, because there are many unique trends and issues that call for exciting solutions.
In case you missed it earlier, here is an interview that I did with Kelli Krueger, ACA International’s Director of Education, previewing the event:
Ignite seems to be a aptly named conference for 2022, at a time when companies are facing challenges on many different fronts, from dealing with difficulties finding and retaining talent, to determining when — or if — to bring employees back to the office, while also understanding how technology is reshaping collections. And, as many of you will remember, the COVID-19 pandemic really ramped up as this event was wrapping up two years ago, sending the world into lockdown. With the worst of the pandemic hopefully in our rearview mirror, it’s time for people to look forward and chart the path that will shape the future of the collection industry.
I’m looking forward to hearing how the leaders in this industry are developing ideas and solutions that will continue to respond to changing consumer preferences while also remaining compliant with new rules and regulations, while at the same time seeking to keep their creditor-clients happy. It’s a never-ending tightrope that needs to walked and it’s events like Ignite that offer the greatest opportunities to keep people from falling off.
