(MADISON, Wis., Oct. 19, 2020) – Each fall State’s team collects school supplies for area students in need. Like so many aspects of 2020, with many team members working remote, this year’s Back to School campaign needed to pivot to an online campaign.
State President Tim Haag issued a challenge to the team. If the team raised $2500 online, State would match the donation. With assistance from some of our valued partners, the team beat the challenge and State is delighted to donate $5200 to assist area students.
Representing our four office locations, the donation is being split between:
- Transition Education Program, Madison, Wis.
- School District of Beloit, Beloit, Wis.
- Luther Burbank Elementary School, Milwaukee, Wis.
- Louise White Elementary School, Batavia, Ill.
“I am proud of the generosity of our team,” said Haag. “Caring for our communities is part of the State culture and is even more important during this difficult time. We appreciate the opportunity to provide the supplies needed for a successful school year to students.”
