How did you get your start in the industry?
I started as a collector and worked my way up to Trainer, Quality Assurance Manager, and Director of Operations.
What is your career highlight so far?
Honestly, I feel there are never highlights in this industry as it always seems it’s not good enough : ) For me, the fact that I have worked in every part of collections — except IT — in seven years is my personal highlight.
When or how are you most productive?
Between 10am and 2pm.
Which industry professional do you admire most?
I have been inspired by several people for all different things.
What is one thing you do better than everyone else?
I am not sure that I do it better than everyone else, but I am very organized.

What do you like most about this industry?
The fact that we are underrated and automatically deemed as the “bad people.” The economic lifecycle would not be complete without collections.
What is one thing you wish you could change about this industry?
The interpretation of laws : ) Why can’t they just tell us how to do it instead of making us interpret how to do it.
If you weren’t in this industry, what would you be doing?
A career where I was helping others on a daily basis and could see automatic results.
Describe a typical work day.
Never a dull moment. Same tasks never the same situation. Constant.
What is your guilty pleasure?
Making sure my emails are cleaned with no notifications : )

Know your audience. You can’t change others so you adapt accordingly. Common since to you is not the same common sense to others.
