Coast Professional has announced plans to more than double the amount of its workforce at its operation in Louisiana, investing more than $750,000 for new office space.
The company is converting a former Sears into new offices in West Monroe, La., according to a published report. The company first opened an office in Louisiana back in 2007. The Louisiana office currently has a staff of 125, but Coast plans to hire an additional 146 workers as part of its expansion plans. The company plans to have the new office open by the end of the year.
Coast Professional, which has been in operation since 1976, is based in Geneseo, N.Y.
The average annual salary of the new employees to be hired at Coast’s Louisiana office will be $36,500, plus benefits. The company will receive a credit of up to $3,500 for each new job created through the Louisiana Enterprise Zone Program.
