Receivable Solutions Closing St. Louis Office, Laying Off 50 Staff

Receivable Solutions Inc. will be closing its office in St. Louis, Missouri, and laying off all 50 employees who worked there, the company said in a notification filed with the Missouri Division of Workforce Development.

The office will be closing on March 29, the company said. Receivable Solutions operated two offices – one in St. Louis and one in Columbia, S.C., according to the company’s website. The company will operate all of its business out of the Columbia office once the St. Louis office is closed, the company announced.

No reason was given for the closure in the notice filed with the state office.

Among the job titles of the employees who worked in the St. Louis office were: medical collector, EBO specialist, insurance representative, client relations specialist, collections supervisor, legal secretary, administrative assistant, trainer/recruiter, IT specialist, systems analyst, and collections manager.

“We will provide various means of assistance to our employees and would like assistance and information from your office to provide to our employees on the unemployment process and services,” the company said in its notification.

From its website, it appears as though Receivable Solutions focuses primarily on working with medical and healthcare providers. The company has been in business for more than 15 years, it said on its website.
