BOOK EXAMINES THE CRIMINALIZATION OF BEING POOR
- The criminalization of being poor is examined in an excerpt of a book written by a law professor from Georgetown University, who argues that the current set of criminal justice rules unfairly target low-income individuals. Those individuals will be “hounded” by collectors and new prosecutions until their deaths, the professor argues.
