New Sentinel Sales Rep Shares Plan, Vision

Sentinel Development Solutions is getting ready to make a big splash in the collections space. The company has hired Rob Norwood as its new director of business development, to help raise its market awareness and take advantage of a changing marketplace.

The acquisition of Columbia Ultimate by Ontario Systems is likely to send shockwaves through the collection technology space for some time, with more merger and acquisition activity to come. Sentinel has recognized the opportunity and is moving forward.

“We are positioned for massive growth at this point,” Norwood said yesterday. “I do see us competing with the very very big players. We are building our footprint.”

Norwood was previously an independent consultant in the collections space. He started at Sentinel on November 1.

He is still putting his plan into place, but did note that the “world is my oyster,” in terms of determining which verticals he will target.

“We are capable of handling any size client,” Norwood said. “We want to be the benchmark.”
