WORKDAY LAUNCHES PREDICTIVE ANALYTICS PLATFORM

  • Software company Workday has released a new predictive analytics product that aims to tell companies which customers are going to be least likely to pay. The software analyzes a company’s historical information to determine who will be able to make a payment. The application is built on a similar platform that Workday offers to HR departments to help identify which employees are most likely to quit.

CFPB TO FOCUS ON UDAAP, MORTGAGE, STUDENT LENDING INDUSTRIES

  • The Consumer Financial Protection Bureau will continue to utilize its UDAAP sword to regulate the injustices it finds in the financial services industry, while continuing to focus on the mortgage and student lending industries for the remainder of 2016, according to a report. The report did mention the CFPB’s proposed rule on debt collection as a policy priority for the next two years, but it does not appear to be very high on the agency’s priority list.
